The working space is split into teams. You will be instructed about where to sit, and you might be asked to relocate if you are assigned to another project.

We have the relax & work-out area next to the working area.

We have 3 meeting rooms. If they are available, please feel free to use them. No booking needed.

Daily process

1. Report 2 times per day (using WIP file), before 10am and 7pm. If not, please donate 20k/time to our Charity fund.

2. If you’re the last person leaving our office, please turn off the lights and lock the entrance door.

* Note: We raise Charity fund to sponsor poor students. We’re now supporting about 10 students for their studying.

Working time

9am-6pm from Monday to Friday, break for lunch from 1pm-2pm.

1/ Coming late or leave office early:

  • Requests for lateness within 30 minutes may be automatically approved.
  • Requests exceeding 30 minutes will require justification and will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. If a request has not been approved by 9:00 AM, staff are kindly expected to be present in the office by 9:30 AM at the latest.
  • Requests for lateness exceeding one hour will be treated as a two-hour time-off block.
  • Requests to leave early will also require justification and approval on a case-by-case basis.

* In the event of a minor violation, a contribution of 20k to the Offspring charity fund is requested if the above guidelines cannot be met. In cases of more critical violations, a warning may be issued by your managers.

2/ Work from home:

  • Maximum of 4 times per calendar month (each time equals no more than 1 day). If you need more than 4 times, please check with HR team. If you work from home, you are expected to be ready for the check-in call with your video turned on. Failing to join this call, will be considered that session off (session = morning or afternoon). Admin team will check WFH 2 times per day

  • Staff members need to work during office hours, simultaneously with other team members.
  • Staff members need to be communicative on Skype and phone if they work from home and need to inform the line manager if they pause their work for more than 30mins
  • Please ensure that your Sage request is submitted by 6:00 PM on the working day prior.
  • Work-from-home (WFH) arrangements are generally not encouraged during key events such as go-live, scheduled team meetings (excluding daily catch-ups), and company monthly meetings.
  • On any given day, no more than 30% of the team should be working from home. For smaller teams with only two members, this percentage may increase to 50%.
  • Critical requests that do not align with the above guidelines will require justification and will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. If a request has not been approved by 8:30 AM, staff are kindly expected to be in the office as scheduled.

3/ Holiday Schedule:

  • 12 days annual leave according to Labour law and Christmas Day (the 25th of December of each Calendar year). We don't encourage extra leave or working from home around the holidays (before or after the break day). If you do have critical reasons that you have to take leave/ work from home during this period, please discuss with your managers

Note: Offspring will be closed from Christmas to New Year. Unless approved by managers, all staffs must take leave during this period.

  • Single-day annual leave should be requested by 6:00 PM on the preceding working day.
  • For extended leave requests (2 days or more), it is kindly expected that they be submitted at least one week in advance.
  • Annual leave is generally not expected on company meeting days, which are held on the last Friday of each month.
  • Requests for annual leave are not typically expected within two days before or after a long company holiday (defined as a holiday lasting two or more working days).

* If you have a critical situation that prevents you from meeting these guidelines, please reach out to your manager to discuss the possibility of an exception.

4/ Female Employees with Children Under 1 Year Old

This policy is applicable to female employees who have children under 1 year old and have informed the HR team prior to the start date. Eligible employees may be permitted to work one hour less than the standard workday. Depending on the position, and after discussion with your manager, you may be allowed to arrive one hour later or leave one hour earlier.

1. Free breakfast, lunch, drinks during the day.

2. Lunch time: 1pm-2pm. If you work from home half day, please notice to admin about having/not having lunch in office.

3. Please put trash in the right bin (see image), clean the kitchen after using. If fail in following the rules, please donate 20k to Charity fund.

Working tools

  • We will provide a standard Macbook. Other equipments such as monitor, mouse, cables, testing devices…will be given on demand.
  • Kindly ensure that company property is well cared for. In the event that any item is broken or damaged due to your actions, you may be responsible for covering the cost of repair or replacement.

If you do one of the following, you will have to pay 20k per time to charity fund:

  1. Not update WIP before 10am and 7pm daily
  2. Come late or leave early without applying in Sage HR (coming late must be applied before 9am)
  3. Throw garbage into the wrong place
  4. Not following ticketing process
  5. Not following door closing instructions (if you leave the office the last)
  6. Upload more than 300 kb/image to our products (website/ app/ platforms)
  7. Not following release process
  8. Not following GIT process
