About Offspring

Offspring is an Australian tech company, founded in 2012. We work with the U.S. and Australian markets. We're a growing team of over 40 people.

We really appreciate team members who are willing to support each other. This might be in the form of technical solutions, english or admin work (i.e. helping the team carry something up the stairs).

This also applies to supporting our clients, whether it’s helping to meet a tight deadline, or explaining a technical decision clearly and simply.

If you’re new to the team, don’t hesitate to reach out to others so that you can get things resolved more efficiently. Knowing when to ask for help is just as important as providing it.

Transparency

We need everyone in the team to communicate transparently and honestly. It’s not a problem if you make a mistake, or you miss a deadline. Anything can be fixed, as long as you communicate it clearly and proactively with your team leads or managers.

An an example, if you see an issue on production, rather than just fixing it and deploying… communicate that you found a production issue, report the fix is on staging and ask your lead if you can deploy a hotfix.

We’re in the tech world, where everything changes fast. We encourage everyone in the team to learn new skills, try new approaches and grow their communication skills.
